Xbox One Latest News & Update: 'Project Scorpio' Groomed to Surpass PS4 Pro?

It's not a secret, how the Xbox One remained inferior to the PS4 console. But during the recent E3 2016 event, both companies teased their upcoming new consoles to the public. Microsoft however, showed fans at least two consoles in the works, the Xbox One S (Slim) and the "Project Scorpio." At the time, Sony only introduced the PS4 Neo.

Microsoft then went ahead and launched the Xbox One S, while simultaneously letting the fans know that, "Project Scorpio" will be more powerful than what they are actually releasing. It was a great run and the console sold like pancakes in the tech market. Now, Sony has introduced the PS4 Neo; now called the PS4 Pro and it's tagged as better and more powerful than the Xbox One S.

With unending competition between the two consoles, Microsoft is yet to reveal their Project Scorpio and according to iTechPost, the company calls it as the most powerful console that has ever been released. Let's take a look at the specs.

The "Project Scorpio" will be able to run 4.5 times faster than the original Xbox One console. The new innovation from Microsoft can run ultra-high-def 4k resolution in a 4K definition. Notably, the 6 teraflops of power can accommodate the 60 frames per second feature of the console.

If the Xbox One S can literally display games in 4K, Project Scorpio is able to run games in 4K. Thus, whenever a game gets extensive graphic rates, "Project Scorpio" will not need to downgrade, but accommodate the frame rate of the game. The Xbox One S on the hand, tones down the frame.
