Nike has made a new pair of a wine-inspired Tiempo football boots dedicated to Andrea Pirlo. The limited edition boots has then caught everyone's attention online.
Who is Andrea Pirlo?
The shoe company, Nike, is set to launch a new shoes inspired by the 37-year-old midfielder Andrea Pirlo, who is a former Juventus star and is now playing for the New York FC in the Major League Soccer. Aside from playing his sport, he also has a passion for winemaking. In fact, he has been running his own winery in his hometown in Flero together with his family.
Pirlo Inspired Nike Boots
Now, Andrea Pirlo will have his own Nike Tiempo inspired boots, which has a Merlot colour that pays tribute to his love for wines. The boots also feature four gold stars on the heel and soles indicating the four World Cup victories of Azzurri, according to Mirror UK.
According to Empire of Soccer, their winery logo is also present on the Nike Tiempo boots and in the inner sole found a the phrase "aged since '94" which marks the debut season of Pirlo in Brescia. The inner sole is made purely of cork and the boots will be in a wooden crate that looks like a preserved wine bottle.
For those who are interested in buying this limited edition boots from Nike, they will also receive a cork sockliner and an additional performance sockliner with their purchase. The boots will be available on September 19 in Nike Football App and Nike.com.

Mirror added that the Pratum Coller vineyard was taken over by Pirlo, who will soon have his own Nike inspired shoes, and his father in 2007. This produces many bottle of wines each year ranging from 15,000 to 20,000 bottles.
