‘Bioshock The Collection’ Release Date, News & Update: All DLCs Come With Free Upgrade; System Requirements & How To Play Remastered PC Versions For Free?

"Bioshock The Collection" includes "Bioshock," "Bioshock 2" as well as "Bioshock Infinite," with each game remastered in 1080p resolution, and on a single disc. They also  include their corresponding downloadable content.

The "Bioshock the Collection" has already been released on Xbox and PlayStation 4. Based on reports, the critically acclaimed FPS trilogy brings additional features for its new and long-time fans.

According to reports, the "Bioshock" game comes with "Challenge Rooms" and "Museum of Orphaned Concepts;" "Bioshock 2" includes "Protector's Trials" and "Minerva's Den;" while Bioshock Infinite contains "Burial" at "Sea Part 1 & 2," "Clash in the Clouds," and "Columbia's Finest." Meanwhile, a special Director's commentary dubbed "Imagining Bioshock" that features the creators Shaw Robertson and Ken Levine is also included.

Based on reports, "Bioshock Infinite's" PC version does not come with extra visual improvements. According to 2K Games, the game's PC version has already met the current-gen console standards and that it performs smoothly on high visual mode. On the other hand, players with "Bioshock 2," "Bioshock" or "Bioshock 2 Minerva's Den" on their Steam library are expected to get the corresponding remastered version without any charge.

According to reports, the initial game is bundled with the new Director's commentary videos. However, for those who still do not have it but want to see it may pick it up via Steam, The Bit Bag reported.

Moreover, most of the gamers are expected to have upgraded their PCs by now, ever since the original "Bioshock" was  released nine years ago. But for those who have not, it is important to take note of the minimum spec needed for the remastered versions.

The players are advised to have the OS and hardware to play the games such as a 4GB or RAM, Intel E6750 Core 2 Duo 2.66GHz or AMD Athlon X2 2.7GHz processor, Windows 7 Service Pack 1 64-bit, 2GB Nividia GeForce GTX 770 or 2GB ATI Radeon HD 7970 and 80GB disk space for the three games: 25GB for Bioshock 2 and Bioshock and 30GB for Bioshock Infinite, Geek reported.
