Apple MacBook Latest News & Update: Is Apple Going To Kill MacBook Headphone Jacks? Survey Questions Revealed!

MacBook headphone jacks seem to be the next thing Apple is going to kill in the future. Earlier we saw the launch of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus with a lightning port only. Some users dislike it point-black, but others might just take time to take in the changes the iPhone series went through.

Recently, MacBook users have received surveys regarding the features of their laptop. One question that was revealed by a certain Blake in his Twitter account was his use of headphone port in his gadget.

Another user was asked how he transfers images from his digital camera to his MacBook. The choices include through wireless, using a cable, SD card or memory card, and USB or thumb drive. Other users who also received the survey about their MacBook posted it on social media with questions that even include battery life.

Speculations reveal that the latest MacBook will include a Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C but no mention of a lightning port. It was only when Apple started to release those survey questions and after the release of their latest iPhone 7 series that users started to think that the giant tech may kill the headphone jack in the near future.

According to Oregon Live, people are not actually happy with the release of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus that has no more 3.5mm headphone jack. Users of the new smartphones cannot listen to music and charge at the same time. With MacBook, the removal of the headphone jack may not be as inconvenient as with the smartphone. However, that would mean buying again a whole new set of buds should you decide to buy a laptop with the lightning port.

If Apple will consider the answers people give on their survey questions, it would certainly know whether to kill the headphone jack on the MacBook or not. Stay tuned to Game & Guide for more Apple MacBook news!
