‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News & Update: PokeVision Alternatives That Are Still Players’ Favorite Choice

"Pokemon GO" players have always known PokeVision. Good or bad news, PokeVision users are once again being treated to numerous alternatives for the banned third-party app. Players who have played "Pokemon GO" from the start, are definitely aware of PokeVision. It was perhaps the most-downloaded third-party app for the Niantic game.

PokeVision rose to fame because of the original "Pokemon GO" locator was a failure. PokeVision was way better a locator. Niantic went on a cleanup drive and banned the third-party app for using its live servers. Since the ban, a number of PokeVision versions have come up.

The Bitbag has listed some such versions of PokeVision. One such unique app for "Pokemon GO" players is PokeEye that has a clever scanner capable of scanning any of the map's portions. The best part is players need not be present at the location to check the Pokemon available. The PokeEye coms with a timer that indicates how long a Pokemon will be in a specific region.

"Pokemon GO" players who have run out of space on their smartphones can always use the PokeVS. It is a webpage and not an app. Its scanner is pretty similar to the PokeVision scanner. Users need to visit the website and start scanning the area for Pokemon.

The Go Scan app is also like PokeEye as it provides the Pokemon scanner option. It is available in the Apple app store for iOS devices. The interesting part about this "Pokemon GO" app is that Go Scan shows the history of Pokemon Spawns for any map location. Filtering searches is also possible to un-clutter maps.

Last but not the least is the PokeFast app and it definitely is the fastest scanner currently available. The "Pokemon GO" third-party app first pinpoints a location and then scans it. The app does not provide a graphics-based representation of the Pokemon. Instead, it provides numbers that identify Pokemon on its Pokedex ID though users have the option to replace the numbers with an image.
