The iPad Pro 2 is another Apple device that many folks are eagerly awaiting. A lof of those were tackled by KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, someone who has gained a good reputation on future Apple-related products.
Kuo did reveal a couple of things tied up to the iPad Pro 2 in a previous post. Among those mentioned included a 9.7-inch and 10.5-inch variant with the former armed with an A9X chip and the latter an A10X. The larger of the two iPad Pro 2 variants will target the commercial and educational sector, boasting of faster screen zooming, scrolling, and panning, Bloomberg reported.
AirPods expanding to iPad Pro 2 use?
As most have noticed by now, the iPhone 7 has started the 3.5 mm jack revolution. Though there are alleged bugs that are traced to the software, the fact of the matter is that Apple is slowly taking out the feature.
That said, the MacBook Pro 2016 and possibly the iPad Pro 2 could follow suit. The MacBook Pro 2016 may affirm that in the Fall while the iPad Pro 2 could follow in early 2017. The new design will see a lot of Apple users trying to get used to the change but the fact that AirPods are being offered separately hints at the big iteration.
AirPods are available separately for $159 from the Apple Store, something critics have called ‘added revenue’. Other than that, it is a given that Apple is applying the big shift to make their devices thinner. The iPhone 7 is a testament to that with the MacBook Pro 2 likely following. The trend is likely to radiate to the iPad Pro 2 in early 2017 which makes a lot of sense since it makes it lighter.
Will Apple Pencil fit in?
Another feature that will reportedly be bumped is the Apple Pencil. Unlike the ones used now, it will get added exposure for the iPad Pro 2. With a wider screen to work with, it does make sense to do so especially if Apple is geared to targeting the commercial and education sectors.
