"Dead Rising 4" is currently in development and a new trailer was recently unveiled to appease fans. Main protagonist Frank West will return to a mall in Willamette during Christmas in "Dead Rising 4," and again take on hordes of the undead.

In the video, titled "Return to the Mall," Frank was taking photos of Willamette Megaplex Mall and suddenly spots the walking dead. He realized that the zombies are back and immediately jumped into action, taking on many of them via an arsenal of weapons. Frank used his bare hands, a machete and a chainsaw, among others to stop the monsters. Later in the "Dead Rising 4" clip, the hero suspected that the return of the undead may have been triggered by a test conducted by a military-like agency.

PC Gamer noted that in the "Dead Rising 4" trailer, Frank also used explosives, guns and a colorful cannon to destroy the monsters. The most exciting part of the "Dead Rising 4" video showed Frank wearing a mechanized suit that allowed him to throw cars around and tear his enemies apart. The franchise has set a reputation for combining fun and violence, creating a very exciting experience for players. "Dead Rising 4" is apparently no different. It also helps that the new story is set during Christmas time, in a nostalgic place.

Game Revolution wrote that "Dead Rising 4" will find a very familiar setup if they previously played "Dead Rising 3." Compared to Los Perdidos, Willamette's snowy and claustrophobic environment will provide a more intimidating setting for gamers. The mall serving as a focal point adds to the tension more. Critics shared that "Dead Rising 4" seems to be the most controlled game in the series with satisfying combat mechanics. The bugs and issues previously spotted at E3 2016 were all gone, so "Dead Rising 4" is set to become the best in the series yet.

"Dead Rising 4" is set to arrive on Dec. 6, 2016 for Xbox One and PC on a timed release. The title is already available for preordering on Microsoft Store. More updates and details are expected soon.
