The world was shocked to learn that long-time and near-perfect Hollywood couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are about to divorce. The Special Envoy of United Nations filed divorce papers on Monday, September 19 after more than 10 years of being together. Latest reports say that Brad Pitt is now being investigated for child abuse.

Brad Pitt Blindsided By Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been bombarded with divorce rumors for so long that it actually comes as no surprise that the couple is actually doing it. However, it seems that Brad Pitt had no idea what's coming at him per US Weekly. The online magazine reported that the "Fight Club" actor knew about Jolie's intention on the day she filed for divorce. In fact, the whole family was set to go to London together on Friday, September 23. Sadly, Monday the trip was canceled.

Angelina Jolie filed for divorce on Monday citing irreconcilable differences. The new Special Envoy of UN is asking for physical custody of all six children; Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8. While she's asking full custody of all six children, she explicitly expressed that she's not after for any spousal support.

Brad Pitt Accused of Child Abuse

While Angelina expressed irreconcilable difference as the main reason for the divorce, recent developments reveal that Brad Pitt may have abused one of his kids in the past, People reported. Reports say that Brad Pitt was verbally abusive and physical with one of his kids during a flight on their private plane. The Lost Angeles Police Department and L.A. County Department  of Children and Family Services are now working on the case after an anonymous person reported the case on Wednesday.

A source told US Weekly on Tuesday that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are indeed arguing over parental styles of their six broods. "They came so close to this before," the insider revealed, adding that they clashed over how to raise their kids. But just like any other couple, Jolie and Pitt had many disagreements over the years.
