'A Series Of Unfortunate Events' Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Season 2 In The Works? New Characters, New Plot?

A lot of people are excitedly awaiting the arrival of "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" on Netflix. Both kids and adults loved the book series as well as the movie adaptation in 2004.  

One of Hollywood's most in-demand actors, Neil Patrick Harris will no less than play Count Olaf. Count Olaf is the main antagonist of the story with a twist as he is still slightly compassionate even if he makes the life of the Baudelaire's difficult.

The reported huge production budget and the very palpable excitement of the fans for the premiere of a "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" in Netflix set season 2 plans abuzz. Although the success of "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" is still undetermined until it is actually aired, it is highly possible that the ASOUE production team is already planning season 2.

Speculations that "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" season 2 is already on the planning stage circulated because of a photo posted by Lisa Brown, Daniel Handler's wife. Lisa Brown posted on Instagram a photo of Daniel Handler together with writers of ASOUE. The caption of the said photo said "writer's room going on in my house" topped up with hashtags #lemonysnicket #aseriesofunfortunateevents.

Although it wasn't clear if the writer's meeting for "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" was for the premiere episode or for season 2, the fans are hoping that it's for season 2.  There isn't a specific air date yet for ASOUE on Netflix, reports have said that the series is already on post-production stage.  The cast even had a farewell party on the last day of filming.Is there really "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" season 2?
