"Chicago Fire" Season 5 will soon set fans sizzling with anticipation as to what happens to Matthew Casey and Gabriela Dawson especially with the presence of Louie in their lives. Will the lieutenant ask the paramedic firefighter for her hand in marriage? Or will they just move on to another chapter in their lives without each other?
Matthew Casey, portrayed by Jesse Spencer, is bent on reconciling with partner Gabriela Dawson, played by Monica Raymund. But in an interview by Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Derek Haas said that Susan Weller, portrayed by Lauren Stamile, will still be around Casey's life in "Chicago Fire" Season 5. After all, they still have unresolved business in the last season. The EP added that Weller might even affect the family Dawson worked so hard to build.
"Chicago Fire" Season 5 will continue to see Matthew Casey's work in construction. As we know, the star fire fighter is also a handy carpenter when he is off duty. Gabriela Dawson is the paramedic from Ambulance 61 but has transferred to Truck 81. Her move was the start of her budding relationship with the lieutenant boss Casey.
Gabriela Dawson had always been skeptic on the motives of Susan Weller. Sometimes, she even gets jealous, but she dares not tell Matthew Casey about it. She would not want to come out as if she is a doting girlfriend. Silently, and perhaps painfully, she just watches the alderman and the political consultant do their own thing, hoping that the relationship will not turn into something romantic. Fans cannot wait to see how far Weller will go after the lieutenant in "Chicago Fire" Season 5.
Spoilers news said that Matthew Casey and Gabriela Dawson might not actually settle down just because of baby Louise. But it will be exciting to know how Susan Weller affects the decision of the lieutenant. Stay tuned to GameNGuide for more spoilers, news and update of "Chicago Fire" Season 5 which will hit the small screen on Oct 11.
