Sprite and 2K Sports have joined forces once again in a new trailer that showcases the two teams that will battle on the blacktop in Houston during the Uncontainable Game.
On the official YouTube page of Sprite, the soft drink company writes, "Watch the NBA 2K13 game of the century from the blacktop! LeBron James, Serge Ibaka and Omri Casspi throw down against Kobe Bryant, Andrea Bargnani and Al Horford in a battle between Uncontainable Game coaches."
So what is the Uncontainable Game? Well according to Sprite's official website it "is the culmination of the global search for the most intense amateur basketball players from around the globe."
These athletes from various countries will square off in the Uncontainable Game with Team Sudden led by LeBron James and Team Intense led by Kobe Bryant. The special basketball game will be played during NBA All-Star 2013 weekend in Houston.
The new video features Lebron James, Kobe Bryant and other Uncontainable Game coaches ball out and throw down against each other in their virtual forms.
2K Games recently released the All-Star Weekend Add-on, 2K for $4.99 on PlayStation Network or 400 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live. The add-on was originally a pre-order exclusive or was available as an added feature on the Dynasty Edition of NBA 2K13. The All Star Weekend DLC features the Slam Dunk Contest, Three Point Contest, Rising Stars Challenge, and the NBA All Star Game.
NBA 2K13 was developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. The game was released on Oct. 2 in North America for the Xbox 360, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, Microsoft Windows, Wii and the Wii U. Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers and Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls are the cover athletes.
