iPhone 7 Latest News & Update: Buggy Earpieces Plague New Apple Flagship Owners [POLL]

The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus has had its share of initial problems though there have been no reports of exploding batteries devices so far. The latest Apple flagship phone seems to be far from perfect with reports of poor audio when owners make or take calls.

A lot of the complaints on the iPhone 7 are now up over at the Apple support forums with many claiming that the audio sounded ‘distant’, Apple Insider reported. Based on the number of complainants, it looks like the issue is not an isolated case.

Some have resorted to lowering the volume to address the iPhone 7 audio issue though it is not a valid fix. There is no official word yet from Apple concerning the matter.

Is this hardware or software related?

Apple seems to be aware of the audio problem but has so far not issued a fix. There is no official word for now on whether the issue is hardware or software related.

That said, Apple could easily remedy the problem if it is software-related while a hardware flaw may require owners to bring their iPhone 7 to the nearest service center.

The call audio issue is the latest row tied up to the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Previously, some owners were complaining about hissing sounds and poor cellular service though most are nowhere close to being severe.

Aside from that, there was an issue tied up to the Lightning port where the integrated remote was rendered useless. With the new changes, the bugs are only to be expected and hopefully things that can be easily remedied through software patches.

Assuming that all the issues are software-related, expect Apple to roll out a fix to cover the said issues. It could be an updated iOS 10 software or an update which the company has been known to do in the past.
