It seems that Santa Monica Studios and the game director had break all rumors claiming that "God of War" 4 is going to be released in 2017. The latest update about "God of War" 4 will shed light about the new combat system, the 100 hour gameplay, the speculated mini game and its official release date.
Cory Balrog Speaks Up On 'God of War' 4 Details
The "God of War" 4 game director has spilled some beans. Cory Balrog recently posted on his Twitter account some clarifications concerning the game. According to him, "God of War" 4 will not have a 100 hour gameplay, but he promised that the game will be packed with thrill and action, and fans can expect several more impressive features!
As Gamenguide previously stated, Balrog also confirmed that "God of War" 4 will not be featuring mini games anymore like its prequel games before. The director added that game will focus more on the story and the adventures of the players, who will be encountering more enemies.
Meanwhile, Santa Monica stated that the combat system for "God of War" 4 will be new but it will still be a fast-pace action hack-and-slash game. Cory Balrog added that "God of War" 4 will be satisfying as hell once gamers get their hands on the game, Yibada reports.
Balrog further stated that the progression system of "God of War"4 has change and it will encourage gamers to play it more than once. The game director added that "God of War" 4 is not entirely an open-world, but it will be far less linear than the previous games in the franchise.
'God of War' 4 Release Date
