'Call of Duty 3' Latest News, And Updates: 'Call of Duty 3' Now Available In 'Xbox' Backwards Compatibility Library!

More Xbox One backwards-compatible games are now made available for gamers. Gamers are definitely thrilled and looking forward to get a hold of these games and add them up to their Xbox One library.

It was reported by Game Spot that the Xbox One backwards compatibility catalog expanded last September 22. Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb of Microsoft announced the expansion on Twitter on the same day.

According to Video Gamer, one of the backwards-compatible games is the "Call of Duty 3." "Call of Duty 3" is not the first "Call of Duty" title in the backwards compatibility library as it just joined "Call of Duty: Black Ops" and "Call of Duty 2."

"Call of Duty 3" may not be the first of its kind in the backwards compatibility library but it followed the success streak of dominating the most-requested line up for backwards compatibility titles in the Xbox feedback site. This Treyarch-developed game was launched in 2006.

Listed in the top five most-requested backwards compatibility titles in the Xbox feedback site are "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3," "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare,"  "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2," "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim,"  and "Call of Duty: Black Ops II."

"Call of Duty 3" is the second new addition to the backwards compatibility catalog this week. This followed "Word Puzzle" which was launched last September 20. Gamers can buy the console through Xbox.com for $20.

The backwards compatibility catalog of Xbox One was launched with the new Xbox One Experience update last year in November. Phil Spencer, the boss of Xbox said this week that there are some games coming to the library soon and that he is looking forward to it.

Overwhelming response is upon the Xbox backwards compatibility catalog since it launched. Thus, Microsoft is continuously adding new titles on a regular basis for the gamers to enjoy.
