‘Clash Royale’ Latest News & Update: September 2016 Balance and Tournament Changes; What Players Did Not Like

Game developer Supercell recently featured the September update for "Clash Royale," which includes new chests, tournament rewards and twists that brought in several new players.

Clash Royale Arena stated that the last "Clash Royale" update was released in July 2016. The new update, 1.4.1, became available on September 24. Some of the balance changes in "Clash Royale" include the Zap stun duration going down from 1 to 0.5 second. The attack speed of Royal Giant was lowered from 1.5 to 1.7 seconds, while Baby Dragon's attack speed was upped from 1.8 to 1.6 seconds. The damage of Dark Prince has been increased by 7.5 percent, P.E.K.K.A. by 5 percent, Archers by 2 percent and Prince by 2 percent.

Other balance changes in "Clash Royale" include the Bowler HP lowered by 7 percent and its damage lowered by 10 percent. Its Elixir cost also went down from 6 to 5. Golem Damage and Death Damage also went through some adjustments. The spawn speed of Tombstone upped to 2.5 seconds. The princess arena damage radius went down by 25 percent, while the Log travel speed went up by 20 percent, while cast time went down by 66 percent.

The new "Clash Royale" update also introduced tournament changes, such as increasing the 500 Gem Tournament Cap from 50 to 100 players. Now, the top 40 players can enjoy rewards, compared to the previous top 20. Increases were also made to the 1,000, 2,000 and 5,000 Gem Tournament Cap, respectively. The opening time of four to 12 Card Chests was lowered from four to three hours. "Clash Royal" update 1.4.1 also fixed a tournament location bug.

The BitBag wrote that some "Clash Royale" fans also complained about certain effects that the new update brought. Included are the presence of hackers and cheaters, the mismatch in Challenge Mode and new card nerfs. At present, "Clash Royale" players still notice that others manage to have unlimited elixir or multiple units of a card in a single deck. In Challenge Mode, players with low cards may be set against very powerful opponents, while the new nerfs in "Clash Royale" also resulted to certain cards becoming too powerful. Overall, "Clash Royale" still have aspects that tend to be spammed and need to be addressed immediately.
