‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Release Date, Cast, News & Update: Jamie Dornan Replaced By ‘Sons of Anarchy’ Star Charlie Hunnam, Not Zac Efron?

"Fifty Shades Darker" will soon premiere on Feb. 10, 2017 and fans are very much excited for it already! Latest reports are now saying that Jamie Dornan has already dropped his Christian Grey role and Charlie Hunnam is going to replace him, and not Zac Efron, as the leading man of Dakota Johnson.

V Man magazine has previously shared how Charlie Hunnam felt after backing out from doing the first installment of the "Fifty Shades Darker" movie. "It was the worst professional experience of my life. It was the most emotionally destructive and difficult thing that I've ever had to deal with professionally. It was heartbreaking," the "Sons of Anarchy" has revealed.

Lately, reports about Charlie Hunnam replacing Jamie Dornan and pilfering the Christian Grey role from Zac Efron have been making rounds. Fans have been speculating that Dakota Johnson's leading man is going to drop his role after the "Fifty Shades Darker" film as he wants to please his wife, Amelia Warner.

Zac Efron has expressed his interest in portraying the Christian Grey role before and the "High School Musical 4" actor has even stated that he is willing to go full-frontal if needs be. However, it seems like more fans want Charlie Hunnam to take over Jamie Dornan's place and become Dakota Johnson's newest leading man after "Fifty Shades Darker."

Rumors say that Charlie Hunnam wants to make things better now. The "Sons of Anarchy" star has expressed that he regretted giving his Christian Role to Jamie Dornan and it was a painful decision for him especially with the fact that he had let the people behind the "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades of Grey" movies.

Meanwhile, GamenGuide has reported that neither Charlie Hunnam nor Zac Efron will be replacing Jamie Dornan as he is not leaving the franchise after "Fifty Shades Darker." Reports say that the husband of Amelia Warner is going to finish the third installment and he will remain as Dakota Johnson's leading man until "Fifty Shades Freed" ends.
