Recent news and updates pertaining to the "Winds of Winter" release date is filled with much negativity. Claims have surfaced that the avid followers of "A Song of Ice and Fire" are now in a rampage for the prolonged delay. It also speculated that George R.R. Martin pleaded for patience regarding the release date of the epic sequel.

Although the rumors have surfaced, there are no indicators that the claims are verified and true. Also, with the presumptions on the rise, there has been no confirmation that the fans are angry at the author of "A Song of Ice and Fire" for the delayed release of "Winds of Winter."

Moreover, there is no definitive proof that the avid followers are angry at George R.R. Martin nor is there any truth that George R.R. Martin pleaded for the fans to be more patient.
