‘The Leftovers’ Season 3 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Brad Pitt’s Ex-Wife Casted? Jennifer Aniston & Justin Theroux Divorce Finally Confirmed?

HBO's hit show, "The Leftovers," is said to have wrapped up the production of its third season in a new location in the Land from Down Under. It has already been reported that "The Leftovers" Season 3 will be the final run of the American television drama series starring Jennifer Aniston's husband, Justin Theroux. The lead star recently posted an interesting video on his Instagram account as a celebration for its successful filming.

The 45-year-old actor's footage on the social media site shows a missile landing on the entire movie crew with caption, "That's A WRAP. 'The Leftovers' Season 3. RIP." The clip was clearly an indication that the production company no longer has plan to produce a fourth season of the show.

According to reports, "The Leftovers" Season 3 flew to Australia to discover the Sudden Departure mystery. Previous reports suggested that the first part of the last season was going to be made in Texas before flying to Aussie for the rest of the episodes.

The creator of the show David Lindelof revealed during an interview that "The Leftovers" was never intended to focus on exploring mysteries and finding answers of thrilling questions. The goal was to produce a show that would capture the interest of the viewers and make them feel right after knowing the story. That's appears to be the plan for "The Leftovers" Season 3.

"[O]n a storytelling level, what happens, what feels like finality in a show that has never been about resolving mystery and delivering conclusive endings, now that the show is actually going to end," says David Lindelof of "The Leftovers" Season 3. "And how do we want the audience to be feeling when it's all over?"

Meanwhile, amidst divorce rumors between Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, reports are circulating that the actress might join "The Leftovers" Season 3 and plays a villain. Although these reports have yet to be confirmed, fans are starting to get excited about it. The last season will be aired in 2017. Stay tuned for more news and updates about the upcoming show, "The Leftovers" Season 3.
