A trailer is out for the upcoming Spartan Ops Episode, and with it, the news that once it's arrive, players will have new optimizations unlocked for them, specifically Rogue and Tracker.
As Halo Waypoint describes it, "Fireteam Majestic are reunited, but the Infinity is still under attack by Promethean forces. Unfortunately for Lasky, he won't know what the Prometheans are after until it's too late." Check out the trailer below!
With the new episode come unlocks for both Rogue and Tracker specializations, as well as a Team Doubles Playlist.
According to the Halo wikia Halo Nation, the Rogue specialization is a "Spartan optimization for single-operative missions which require a Spartan to be deployed on their own for incredibly long durations of time, even years if required." Completing the Rogue specializations earns the Stability Support Upgrade, decreasing the recoil taken when taking damage while scoped in. Overall, accuuracy is increased.
The Tracker specialization is meant for "long range target tracking (go figure) [trans-continent and off-world], particularly in scenarios where conventional tracking has failed or such a substantial time has passed that the trail has gone cold."
The episode will be available on Feb. 4.
