But her latest post on her social media account hinted that Mackenzie Ziegler is working on to bring back her inner Mack Z. So is the former "Dance Moms" star focusing on her music now?
Mackenzie Ziegler posted a nice photo of her and Nickelodeon star Jade Pettyjohn on her Instagram account. The two young stars were all smiles while holding their guitars. Basing on Mackenzie Ziegler's caption, the 12-year-old former "Dance Moms" star was taking some music tips from the "School of Rock" actress. "It was so cool to join@JadePettyjohn_official for a music class at@NickelodeonTV. I’ll be watching her jam on #SchoolOfRock TONIGHT at 9pm!#sponsored" Mackenzie Ziegler wrote.
The hashtag "sponsored" on the post was a little bit confusing though, what is Mackenzie Ziegler being sponsored on? Does this mean that she is being paid to mention Nickelodeon and "School of Rock?" If that's the case, then Hollywood is officially a confusing place.
Mackenzie Ziegler was the very first one to have been given an opportunity to shine outside dancing by "Dance Moms" terror dance teacher herself, Abby Lee Miller. She was given the nickname Mack Z after her "It's A Girl Party" music video became an instant hit. Abby Lee Miller was building Mackenzie Ziegler as the next best thing in Hollywood, but her music career did not really push through.
It seems like dancing and music was too much for the young star to handle. Now that she's older, it appears like Mackenzie Ziegler is trying to re-visit her musical background. But even though she's enjoying herself learning about music from the Nickelodeon star Jade Pettyjohn, Mackenzie Ziegler is still not hanging up her dancing shoes.
