Jennifer Lopez, the executive producer of "World of Dance," will also be the new judge and mentor of NBC's reality competition series. Her on-screen capacity on the show is not something new to the singer as she has also been a judge in "American Idol."

Jennifer Lopez should be a magnificent judge and mentor in "World of Dance" as she had said that she can relate to the struggles and passions of the contestants. Through this reality show, a dancer's career is guided for success in the future.

Jennifer Lopez will join a panel of dance experts to judge in "World of Dance." They will evaluate the performance of every contestant in terms of routine, execution, presentation and appeal to the crowd.

Competitors in the "World of Dance" will be divided into three categories. The Junior Group will be contestants who are under 16 years old. Upper Groups will have members up to four with age of 16 years and above. More than five members will belong to Team Group with age of 16 years and up. The usual procedure wherein there is an initial audition and division face offs will apply. As a judge, Jennifer will be one of the panel to decide who will be the last man standing in the competition.

Winners from each division in "World of Dance" will receive $1 million and the most coveted title "Best in the World." Other names to join Jennifer Lopez as a judge are still to be announced.
