Although the rumors are fast circulating, all of these presumptions were debunked. There were no confirmed details from Netflix regarding the cancellation of "Marco Polo" Season 3. Despite the presumptions, some are still hoping that Benedict Wong's character, Kublai Khan would once more grace the small screens.
As for the claims the claims that Benedict Wong would abandon "Marco Polo" Season 3 for Netflix' new series, "The Crown," that has been debunked as well. Meanwhile, Christian Today reported that Kublai Khan's fate was not fully unveiled in the cliffhanging end of the previous season.

In a report from iTech Post, it conveyed of some rumors that Benedict Wong has moved on to a new series, and has fully abandoned "Marco Polo" Season 3, but as formerly stated, there is no definitive proof and these words are considered as mere hearsay.
