Fans are already looking forward to Marvel's upcoming series that will bring together Matt Murdock, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Danny Rand. While Matt and Danny have yet to meet Jessica, she already has a history with Luke. After all, Mike Colter's character debuted in the first season of "Jessica Jones" before starring in his own Netflix show. There is little doubt that sparks will fly when the two reunited in "The Defenders". But does this also mean that Luke will help his ex-lover defeat The Punisher in "Jessica Jones" Season 2?

Things ended pretty badly for Luke Cage and Jessica Jones in the first season of her Marvel series, but it made way for Power Man to head for Harlem. However, some fans believe that Luke will return to Hell's Kitchen once he finds out Jessica has to face The Punisher. Although Jon Bernthal has not been confirmed to appear as Frank Castle, there could be another villain that could force Luke to reunite with his ex in "Jessica Jones" Season 2. Is it possible that Luke is also connected to IGH?
IGH just might be the only villain more terrifying that The Punisher in the Marvel Netflix universe. The organization is expected to finally turn Will Simpson into Nuke and was previously revealed to be connected to Jessica as well. Is IGH also responsible for giving Luke Cage his bullet-proof skin and super strength? The truth may finally be revealed when "Jessica Jones" Season 2 premieres in 2018.
