Will 'House Of Cards' Season 5 Be Canceled Cause Of Beau Willimon's Departure

After the series creator, Beau Willimon, leaves the show, many ask what would be the future of "House of Cards" Season 5. According to Movie News Guide, the 38-year-old screenwriter is the sole idea of the political drama series. In fact, he is the one that put the show together by adapting it from the British series with the same title based on Michael Dobb's novel.

Beau Willimon framed "House of Cards" Season 5 to fit the political system in the U.S., so the citizens of America could relate. Evidently, he did a great job by applying all his knowledge in the political world and, in fact, being known in that niche. Hence, some deem that his exit will certainly affect the show and its reason for cancellation.

Frank's Death A Sign Of Cancellation?

In fact, the rumors are strong that Frank is about to meet his demise in "House of Cards" Season 5. If the main protagonist dies, there might be no reason for the show to go on. GamenGuide reported that the role of Kevin Spacey might be killed by her wife, Claire (Robin Wright), to take his presidential seat. It has been said that vice president is not contented with bring the POTUS' right hand and so, she will plan for her husband's death.

There are also hearsays that if Claire won't assassinate Frank, Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) might take the President's life in "House of Cards" Season 5. There are strong assumptions that Frank will be murdered by someone he loves, if not, someone he truly trusts the most. In fact, in an interview with Mahershala Ali, who plays the role of Remy Danton, she revealed that Frank will die in the hands of someone he relies on. "House of Cards" Season 5 will air in February 2017 on Netflix.
