‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News & Update: Secret Tips & Tricks That Can Improve A Player’s Gaming Experience

Even if "Pokemon Go" launched nearly three months ago, there are still a lot of things that most players do not know about the game and its mechanics. Some still do not know how the mechanics in gym battles are, or why almost everyone seems to have a Snorlax or where legendary Pokemon can be found. Thankfully, some helpful "Pokemon Go" players have looked deeper into the game to let other players know more about the mechanics that are not very obvious in the game.

BGR gives out fifteen tips that members of the Silph Road Community on Reddit have gathered to let players enjoy the game better. These address some issues which are not very visible in the game, but can be delved into to make the gaming experience more enjoyable.

Some of the tips given were that a player can tap the "Oh?" screen with two fingers so that the hatching animation of the egg can be skipped. The compass icon, which is ignored, can be of big use because tapping on it will align the view north and tapping it again will align where the phone faces. During a gym battle, a player can swipe up to bring up the switch Pokemon screen, which is a faster way to do it.

It is also pointed out that there is a slider at the side of the Pokemon screen that would allow a player to scroll through the list faster. A player can also press and hold the Pokeball icon and drag and release on an item which he or she wants to open to save an extra tap. Evolving a Pokemon also rewards a player with candy, so getting a Pokemon to its third form actually takes less candy than is expected. On the heal screen, a player can tap multiple Pokemon at once instead of individually so healing is done faster.

GamenGuide also said that with the recent update, it is no longer advisable to button smash the screen while taking part in a gym battle. Instead, even before the attack animation of the enemy Pokemon ends, a player can already attack and command his or her Pokemon.
