Susan Weller is definitely not a woman who would easily give up on something, especially not her man. Executive producer Derek Haas has already confirmed with Entertainment Weekly that Susan will return in "Chicago Fire" Season 5 and she might be out to take Casey back from Dawson.
"She’ll be back in the first episode," Haas said of Susan Weller. In addition to that, the EP teased that Susan will make things difficult for Casey and Dawson. "I won’t say that she’s not going to affect the Dawson-Louie-Casey new family unit that was created at the end of the season," he revealed. It looks like Susan Weller will not need to do anything drastic to get Casey back from Dawson in "Chicago Fire" Season 5. Derek Haas also hinted on a few issues with Dawson, who might be more interested in being a mother to Louie than maintaining a relationship with Casey. The EP revealed that Dawson will probably want to figure out her priorities when the series returns. Will Dawson decide to leave Casey and quit her job to take care of her foster son?
