Jace Back At The Shadowhunters Institute
"Shadowhunter" season 2 set photos features two characters from the Freeform series seemingly ready to fight off each other. One of the men resembles Dominic Sherwood -- who plays Jace Wayland -- Movie News Guide reported. Opposite Jace looks to be the curly-haired Emeraude Toubia, who plays Isabelle Lightwood or Izzy. The identity of Izzy was confirmed by the caption on the show's official Instagram account. Take a good look at the picture below.

The surroundings in the picture confirmed that Jace is back at the Institute for the "Shadowhunters" season 2. However, he looked like someone who isn't excited to see his friends. The report suggests that Jace may have something more than reuniting with his friends as his motive for returning. There's a possibility that Jace comes back with a new mission; that mission may have something to do with Valentine. Before he executes his plans, Izzy may have uncovered his intentions, which led to the fight scene snapped on Instagram.
Why Is Jace Fighting Izzy?
The photo of Jace and Izzy in "Shadowhunters" season 2 was posted after Katherine McNamara shared a snap of Clary and Izzy engaged in a duel. Now, many fans are speculating that the two are fighting because of Jace. McNamara previously hinted that her character's mission in "Shadowhunters" season 2 is to save Jace from Valentine. Now that Jace is back at the Institute, Clary will make sure that Jacy won't be breainwashed by Valentine.
"Shadowhunters" season 2's official synopsis tells fans that loyalties and friendships will be put to the test. Does this point to Clary and Izzy's relationship? Fans will also get to see an unlikely alliance between the Shadowhunters and the Downworlders in order to defeat Valentine and The Circle. "Shadowhunteres" season 2 will air on Freeform in 2017.
