'Final Fantasy XV' Release Date, News & Update: Win Custom Xbox One Console Via Pre-Order; Free-To-Play Mobile Game Features Multiplayer Mod

A "Final Fantasy XV" gameplay video was recently spotted online that revealed the latest features of the video game. Those who preordered the game can get the chance to win a custom Xbox One console from the official website.

The PlayStation Access team had livestreamed the new gameplay video which started from a pre-saved game with a total gameplay of an hour. "Final Fantasy XV" gameplay showed new features like more colorful clothes, a mini game against Gladio, as well as a new location.

The video unveiled a new beachfront location where there is also another new minigame, fishing. However, catching a fish reportedly crashed the game during the demo. Aside from new clothes, gamers can also change their character's appearance in the game.

A second livestream video of "Final Fantasy XV" was released by PlayStation access that showed the gamer hunting for cooking ingredients like meat from the animals the team has hunted. The Regalia, as shown in the video, may also be customized with decals with the help of Cindy Aurum for car paint jobs, logos, engine change, wheels, rims, among others. Regalia customization that is expected to perform different functions. Previously, trailers have revealed the Regalia transformation from a car to a flying mobile jet.

Those who pre-order the game in the Square Enix online store have the chance to win different prizes like a custom "Final Fantasy XV" model Xbox One, Carbuncle Surprises reported. The console will be designed to look like Noctis' primary weapon, the Engine blade.

Meanwhile, "Final Fantasy XV" is rumored to feature a new mobile game called "King's Knight: Wrath of the Dark Dragon." The mobile game will be free-to-play and is said to feature a 4-player multiplayer as well as a mini game via DLC, Kotaku reported.

"Final Fantasy XV" Director Hajime Tabata previously stated that the game may port into the new PS4 pro, Xbox Scorpio and PC. However, the game is reportedly not publishing on the Nintendo NX. Additionally, the game is also expected to feature a new magic crafting system for customized magic spells and items. Elemental spells include fire, blizzard and thunder.
