" Reign" Season 4 is teeming hot for a new season's much awaited comeback in the airwaves. Fan trailers showing Queen Mary's return to her homeland Scotland, signals the beginning of a great episode in the making.

Even when the last season's finale had just ended in mid-2016, the avid followers of the great American fictional romantic series is clamouring for its return. "Reign" Season 4 is in for another instalment contrary to rumours of its scrapping from the CW network according to Ecumenicalnews.

The show runners of "Reign" Season 4 have started the works to catch the series proposed airdate by fall but some issues prevented that. Rumours are circulating the earliest date for the season's premiere is January 2017.

"Reign" Season 4 will bring back Mary the Queen of Scots (played by Adelaide Kane) to her beautiful country, Scotland. She would be welcomed by her loyal subjects but she would welcome as well enmity between her new enemies.

Additionally, "Reign" Season 4 will bring in a new husband for Queen Mary. One is Lord Darnley, Henry Stuart (Will Kemp) who will be added to the cast, TVline reported. Damley is the son of a power hungry mother who works hard to get his son a crown.

"Reign" Season 4 will re-enact history of the English royalty. Lord Darnley, the second husband is the father of King James VI of Scotland, thus giving the king his rights to the English throne. Likewise, a small warm and bad boy, Earl of Bothwell (Adam Croasdell) who is madly in love with Mary will try to win her heart.

Finally, to the fans credit for support "Reign" Season 4 will have a great comeback in winter. Confirmed as expected, the show will visit the small screen of the home viewers in January 2017
