'Wentworth' Season 5 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Who Will Take Bea's Place? Inmates Will Avenge For Former Top Dog?
It has been two months since "Wentworth" Season 4 ended and fans witnessed the death of Bea Smith (Danielle Cormack). But, it looks like viewers still haven't moved on from what happened. Supporters of the show are now looking forward to the coming of "Wentworth" Season 5 and who among the inmates will replace the position of the top dog.
Who Will Take Bea's Place In 'Wentworth' Season 5?
Last season's finale ended with a major cliffhanger and a shock with Bea's death. According to FX News Call, there are two names emerging that would replace Bea as a top dog in the coming "Wentworth" Season 5. There are swirling rumors that Franky Doyle (Nicole da Silva) or Allie Novak (Kate Jenkinson would take the position left by Bea.
However, the 35-year-old star da Silva is busy filming her new series, "Doctor, Doctor" so, she, too, might also meet her demise in the next installment. The publication's source also revealed that no one can take Bea's place in "Wentworth" Season 5. But, if a new character or an already-known role will replace the much-loved protagonist, it might be Foxtel's top secret that will come as a surprise.
Inmates Want To Avenge For Bea In 'Wentworth' Season 5
Meanwhile, Kate Jenkinson, who plays the role of Allie Novak, revealed that the inmates will take their vengeance for what happened in Bea in the coming "Wentworth" Season 5. In an interview with After Ellen, the 35-year-old star talked about the character's demise and how will she missed Danielle Cormack on the set. "I think while it's still devastating (Bea's death) and I'm certainly always going to miss Dan's (Cormack) presence on set," she said.
Allie Novak also revealed that it was a very bold move for the showrunners to kill a very important character that might affect the show. "I feel like it's quite fitting because the world is not safe. ... even if you're Top Dog. Even if you're the central character," she continued. The actress ended her interview to tell the fans that there are some people who want to avenge Bea that they should wait and see in "Wentworth" Season 5. Foxtel has yet to announce the coming of "Wentworth" Season 5, but it is expected to be out in 2017.
