'GTA 5' Release Date, News & Update: Biker DLC will Go Live on Oct. 4; What to Expect with the Free Update
"GTA 5" will have its new DLC called Bikers and Rockstar confirmed that they are releasing this on Oct. 4. The downloadable update will be available on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Via Newswire, game developer Rockstar Games also revealed some screen shots of what to expect from the free Bikers DLC. Things like cool bikes, weapons and biker outfits are shown in the images and these gave a closer look at what "GTA 5" players can enjoy with the new update.
New missions and waging war with rival gangs have also been highlighted as new features included in the DLC. In addition, the update was said to have an effect on how heists are carried out in the game.
Although Rockstar Games did not disclose detailed information on how the new content will work with the current "GTA 5," the previews and teasers hinted that the Bikers DLC will present underground motorcycle clubs and they are likely to navigate through Los Santos and the Blaine County.
What's more, the "GTA 5" online expansion will allow players to form and spearhead their own bike club where they can recruit up to eight members/players. Rockstar Games further disclosed that with "Grand Theft Auto 5" Bikers DLC, players will have new roles to play, ranging from being a newbie players to club Presidents.
"Beyond a range of opportunities to climb the ranks within a gang and build lucrative businesses as a formidable MC," Rockstar stated in a press release. " Bikers DLC boasts of several new theme options for all types of players. Along with weaponry, biker styles and tattoos will make "GTA 5" as close to the real world of bikers.
Finally, this bike-themed "GTA 5" expansion update will be available at no cost. It will arrive as an automatic download on three platforms - PC, Xbox One and PS4. Just a few more hours and the DLC is all set to deliver new gaming experience to players, through its competitive co-op gameplay modes and new features.
