Gravity Rush's Kat and Starhawk's Emmet Graves Now Free to Download for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

There's a lot happening on PSN right now. If you're not busy with Skyrim's Dragonborn DLC, or slamming your head against a wall waiting for the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's Revolution Map Pack to come out at the end of the month, at you should take the time to grab the two new downloadable characters for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale: Kat from Gravity Rush and Emmet Graves from Starhawk.

According to the official PlayStation Blog, the two characters will just be free for the next two weeks. Beginning February 26th, each character will cost $4.99. These extra characters bring the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale roster up to 23. (including the boss)  Check out the complete list of playable characters here.

Mid-air dashes and wall-walking are true to Kat's anti-gravity repetoire.  Kat can attack from a distance she's not pelting you with stage pieces, but if she's also dangerous up close: Kat is a kicker.

Just as in Starhawk, which blends shooting with spontaineous base-building elements, Emmet has a "Build-in-Battle" technique, which calls down turrets and weapon pods from space that can mix up super attacks.

In addition to the new characters, the new "Fearless" DLC stage switches between Heavenly Sword and WipEout-inspired backdrops, complete with character cameos and hazardous vehicles. Unfortunately, unlike the characters, players will have to shell out $1.99 no matter when you buy it.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is available for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita now.
