‘The Sims 4’ DLC Latest News & Update: ‘Day of the Dead’ Challenge Live! Jasmine Holiday Returns; Karaoke Coming to ‘City Living’

A new game update for "The Sims 4" is now live to celebrate the Day of the Dead. It's also the perfect game update for Halloween as new costumes, decors and recipes have been introduced. GamenGuide previously reported about the new Halloween-themed content for the simulation game, but now it appears that a familiar character is back. Jasmine Holiday has once again visited the town and she'll be around until Nov. 4.

In the official "The Sims 4" website, it was announced that Jasmine will be around for the Day of the Dead holiday challenge. Players can now have the "Ask for Sugar Skull" interaction to complete the collection of sugar skulls for the Sugar Skull Display Case. When a Sim has 10 Sugar Skulls inside the case, a new interaction called Honor the Dead will be unlocked. This interaction lets Sim interact with the Grim Reaper as well and form a bond with him. This would come in handy just in case Sims need to plead that death won't take away a Sim's life.

Meanwhile, Electronic Arts just keeps letting "The Sims 4" fans know that the upcoming "City Living" DLC is just exciting. EA just announced that Sims can soon sing their hearts out with the Karaoke coming to the expansion. Sims have the choice to sing in their homes with the karaoke machine or they can visit in any of the two new Karaoke bars in San Myshuno.

The residents of the new town can also use the machine to develop the Singing Skill. Many players will definitely love the machine that should make the environment livelier for the Sims. The karaoke machine offers tunes from different genres like pop and jazz. The official news post promised that this new feature of "The Sims 4: City Living" DLC should be a "treat for the eyes and ears." The new expansion is expected to arrive in November so stay tuned for more "The Sims 4" updates.
