"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" unveils 1.05 patch in preparation for November release of PlayStation 4 Pro. Developer Eidos Interactive boasts that it will support 4K resolution to compliment the latest console offering from Sony.
It may not be the real 4K but PlayStation 4 Pro has what Sony calls Forward Compatibility and "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" will take advantage of this improved graphics. For gamers who are still on plain PlayStation 4 and Xbox One S, the same patch will allow them to use HDR instead. This could be a huge boost for the title while trying to cope up with upcoming consoles. Several bugs fix were also included in the game.
Only PC version of "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" was reported to be doing better although not totally free of defects. PS4 and Xbox One gamers observed frequent freeze, crash and graphics problems since the game was launched. Among these bugs that irritate gamers is "permanent hunt" which can happen when updating into previous patch version while enemies are chasing the character. According to Game Spot, the effect of this bug impacts save file and locks the enemies in their search. Thus, permanently hunting the character.
Now for PC version, "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" patch will fix crashes while replaying saved game. Another issue that Eidos took into consideration was gamers getting stuck on certain missions. In general, all stability issues gathered from forums like Square Enix's and social media were addressed. This includes the dreaded DXGI_DEVICE_HUNG issue.
Now for the bonus, "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" patch has add-ons following its trail. Expect new features for Breach mode, opened gate to Overworld and more hints to enigmatic Santeau Corporation. Eidos revealed that there will be new customizable weapons as well. Even the powerful Premium Ripper can change skin to fit the gamers' preference. Actually, there is another premium weapon listed although there is no report so far to pinpoint this menace.
