Sony has registered a series of domains related to something called "PlayStation Cloud," just days before the press conference where Sony is expected to announce the next PlayStation.

The registrations lend credibility to reports that Sony will use a Gaikai-designed streaming service to bring the PS3 library to the console. According to Kotaku, all of the domains, which include playstation-cloud.orgplaystation-cloud.com, and ps-cloud.net, are registered by someone connected to Gaikai. Sony purchased Gaikai in 2012 for USD $380 million, a move long-thought to be connected to the company's next-gen development.
