'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Release Date, Latest News & Update: Amazon Unveils Game's Release Date! Game Features & Plot Revealed?
BioWare has kept mum on the exact release date of the highly anticipated "Mass Effect: Andromeda," which is supposedly arriving sometime in 2017. However, it seems that there is an official release date in sight, much thanks to online retailer, Amazon.
SegmentNext reports that while the highly anticipated "Mass Effect: Andromeda" was delayed from its original fall 2016 release to next year, there's finally a date to bookmark for the game's release. Amazon has indirectly teased the arrival of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" on March 21, 2017.
According to Tech Times, Amazon has uploaded a listing for a book titled "The Art Of Mass Effect: Andromeda," which will go on sale beginning March 21, 2017. Of course, this isn't the game itself but the description for the book reads that publisher Dark Horse is releasing the aforementioned book along with BioWare's latest iteration of the game series.
This thoroughly implies that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is indeed coming on March 21, 2017, alongside "The Art Of Mass Effect: Andromeda." The book is a great companion to the game, as "Mass Effect: Andromeda" Creative Director Mac Walters told Express that in the process of creating the "Andromeda" universe, there's so many more stories that they would like to tell that the game can't encompass all at once, thus the creation of such comics.
According to Walters, the comics give gamers and fans a different and more in-depth view of the lives of explorers in the world of "Mass Effect: Andromeda." Whether or not however this comic book will be released the same day as the highly anticipated day remains to be seen.
