MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date, News & Update: Laptop to Arrive in November; Powerful Processor, Impressive Specs & Features Confirmed!
When the iPhone 7 was launched by Apple last month, many people expected the company to introduce some of its upcoming releases at the same time. However, the Cupertino based company decided to skip some of its highly anticipated devices including the new MacBook Pro 2016. Nonetheless, new reports have emerged suggesting that the much awaited laptop will finally come out in November along with the new iMac 2016 and MacBook Air 2016.
Although the company has yet to provide concrete details about the rumored release date, industry experts believe that Apple will unveil the new MacBook Pro 2016 during its quarterly earnings call at the end of October. Apple is said to be working on bringing its sales back to the top as the company suffered major losses in 2016. Apparently, Apple only has revenue of $47.5 billion this year compared to its $51.5 billion during the same time in 2015.
The new MacBook Pro 2016 is said to be the new flagship laptop of Apple as the company is rumored to discontinue the MacBook Air brand. However, this report has yet to be confirmed by the company and speculations are also rife suggesting that the American tech giant may release a new MacBook Air device before the year ends.
According to a report by Mac World, the new MacBook Pro 2016 is not going to be the thinnest laptop in the market; however, it will definitely come out slimmer and lighter than its predecessor. The new portable computer will certainly come out with an OLED touch bar, which is said to replace the traditional function keys right above the keyboard. There is also the element of surprise as to what processor Apple will use on the new MacBook Pro laptop. There are speculations suggesting that the company might go with the new Kaby Lake from Intel; however, the chipset will not be available until late this year.
