‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News & Update: Niantic Brings Game To More Countries, Details Here!

Niantic continues to enjoy its rebound following a decline in active players for “Pokemon Go” with word that the hit augmented reality game has now been deployed in more regions. Eleven countries were added to append the list of augmented reality gamers though it still excludes three big ones.

The eleven countries where “Pokemon Go” is now available for download include Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Albania, Bosnia, Herzegovina, Macau, Macedonia, and Serbia. Android and iOS versions of “Pokemon Go” can now be downloaded via their respective App stores.

China, India, and South Korea next?

The eleven countries mean that Niantic will have more players for “Pokemon Go”. With the impending influx of new players, Niantic will need to ensure that their game servers can hold up.

In fact, the game servers backing “Pokemon Go” were singled out as one reason behind the delay in release, revealing that the servers reached its maximum level, according to Google’s Luke Stone.

Three key regions which are likely to have the heavy player count for “Pokemon Go” are China, India, and South Korea. Niantic is reportedly trying to resolve Google map restrictions, something mentioned in a previous post. Regardless, the “Pokemon Go” is expected to be released soon.

Despite the balloon in “Pokemon Go” players, critics are still pessimistic on how long the fortunes of Niantic will hold up. With new features for the game looming plus the added gamers count, it seems hard to foresee how the “Pokemon Go” craze would fold.

Until that time comes, it is full steam ahead for Niantic as they move to make “Pokemon Go” bug-free and reveal features that have been long-awaited. Already lined up are the trading and gym battles which will likely be out on “Pokemon Go” Gen 2.
