'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' Release Date, Latest News & Update: Beta to Include Four Modes, New Maps; Combat Rig Details Here

The countdown has begun for the highly anticipated "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" multiplayer beta that begins this Friday, October 15. Fans of the first-person shooter video game from Infinity Ward have a lot to look forward to during this weekend's multiplayer beta.

According to IGN, the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" multiplayer beta will begin at 10 a.m. PDT on Friday, October 14. There's a ton of content to look forward to, including three of six new Combat Rigs that gamers can use during their battles. These Combat Rigs are new suits that pack a punch because it contains a Payload and a Trait for various tactical options. For those who aren't familiar yet, Traits re passive abilities that your character is equipped with. Payloads, on the other hand, are the weapons a player earns in every match. These can be activated to power up a player's Rig.

There will be three new Combat Rigs available during the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" multiplayer beta this Friday. The first is the Warfighter for players who use the mid-range assault technique. This Rig is best used using the Claw, Combat Focus, and Overdrive Payloads.

Meanwhile, the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" multiplayer beta will also feature the Combat Rig called Merc, which players who are heavy on defense will enjoy. It's best used with the heavy beam weapon Steel Dragon, as well as the Bull Charge with the armored riot shield.

Lastly, gamers will also get a taste of the Synaptic in the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" multiplayer beta. The Synaptic is a C6 Class remote-operated droid that helps players engage in close combat fighting. In terms of Payload, it will definitely boost your health and ammo when used.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, there will be three modes available during the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" multiplayer beta this Friday. The Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Kill Confirmed will be tested out during the event, as well as Defender and some additional surprises from the studio. Aside from modes, there's also at least three maps available this Friday. Gamers can explore the circular, two-lane, fast-paced Frontier, the linear, three-lane, medium paced Frost, or the bent, three-lane, medium-paced Throwback.
