'Remember Me' Release Date Delayed to June 4 [VIDEO]

"Remember Me" will come to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on June 4 in North America and June 7 in Europe, a new Capcom trailer reveals.

Technically, the launch date constitutes a short delay. Until today, "Remember Me" was on track to launch in May, though no finite release date was announced.

An "Inception"-esque sci-fi action game, "Remember Me" follows the story of Nilin, a woman with the ability to enter and "remix" a person's memories, despite having lost her own. Mechanically, the game features a blend of puzzles where players will alter memories to secure objectives, and technical melee combat.

The first game from French developer Dontnod studios, "Remember Me" may be cursed by it's unfortunate timing. The first half of 2013 has been front-loaded with high-profile sequels and new IPs in the days before the turbulence caused by the announcement of the PlayStation 4 launching this holiday season with the next Xbox expected to follow suit.  The game will compete with new series like "Fuse" and "The Last of Us," as well as established franchises with similar gameplay like "Devil may Cry" and "Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance."

Do you think gamers will make time in their schedule for "Remember Me?" Or is it too little, too late? Let us know in the comments.
