A set of images showing the PS4's user interface surfaced on Japanese sites and message boards.
The images, which may have originated at Japanese outlet Game no Hanashi and confirmed by Kotaku, show how PS4 players will navigate through menus, use social integration, and watch streaming gameplay sessions.
Some of the images, like the profile page, are definitely the same sample screenshots presented at Sony's PS4 unveiling in New York last week. Others seem to be new, and show off new details for some of the console's signature features. One image show a tightly-packed feed of panels of PS4-related social updates like high-scores and new downloads, etc. Another shows that users will be able to edit in-game footage taken using the console's share button. Lastly, a pair of images show how streaming game videos will look on both smartphones and tablets.
All of the images feature a disclaimer stating the designs are "subject to change without notice." Sony says they haven't finalized the design of the PS4, so it isn't outrageous to think that they may be tweaking the UI design as well.
