“Elder Scrolls 6” may be more of a dream than a reality right now with game development kept at a minimum by Bethesda. With the focus right now on “Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim”, any major development tied up to the much-clamored sixth installment will have to wait.
While players wait on “Elder Scrolls 6”, the features of the next installment is what players are more interested to find out. A number of features possibly employed for the said game have been mentioned in a previous post, a bucket list that could make sense.
Among the mentioned features for “Elder Scrolls 6” include the integration of guilds, virtual reality or even a mobile edition. There are likely more in the minds of the Bethesda game developers which could come out as the years come.
Leveling System dishes
The best way to determine what new features “Elder Scrolls 6” could bring is to look at “Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim”. Even with a “Skyrim Special Edition” coming in the coming months, there are current features that may or may not make it to the next installment.
New features are a given but the question now is whether they are helpful. Bethesda has been known to pack a lot of perks with its games but what if they backtrack a bit to ensure game balance?
With that in mind, the leveling system could do well to make a change. Bethesda could employ focus on organic and invisible experience for “Elder Scrolls 6” where stats won’t make be the sole indicator of how good they are in game.
Instead, using a skills-based or usage-based leveling system for “Elder Scrolls 6” could be a possible recourse, rewarding players who invest lots of time playing the game, Gaming Bolt reported. Leveling in any game aside from “Elder Scrolls 6” is a sensitive topic so tackling it could require deeper analysis that can produce a win-win solution for players and Bethesda of course.
