The favorite British psychological thriller has been on a hiatus for quite awhile now and fans are still waiting for the coming of "Fortitude" Season 2. It was in 2015 when it was first aired and concluded, but with its good performance and positive reviews, a lot is looking forward to its return.

Disturbing Plot Twists, More Dangerous Threats Waiting In 'Fortitude' Season 2?

According to C21Media, "Fortitude" Season 2 will be back with fast-moving episodes that carry more intense and disturbing plot twists. Dan Anderssen (Richard Dormer) and the rest of the gang might surpass that parasitic threat of "Fortitude" Season 1, but they will all be welcomed with more dangerous things in the new installment. Those who stay in the Fortitude should be warned.

'Fortitude' Season 2 Trailer Revealed! Gives A Glimpse Of Scary, Disturbing Events!

Moreover, Sky Atlantic recently dropped the first trailer for "Fortitude" Season 2 and scares its fans the most with the new nighttime terror. The 40-seconder quick video gives a glimpse of the new protagonist Michael Lennox (Dennis Quaid) sitting inside his car and looks either scared or disturbed by what he's seeing.

Later, the next sequence focuses on the recurring Governor Hildur Odegard (Sofie Gråbøl), who also has a distressed look when she is examining the "snow-capped Fortitude" with torchlight, Daily Express noted. The governor's reaction simply hinted that there is something strange happening in "Fortitude" Season 2. The teaser then goes to give an intense and quick mosaic of the danger of the new killer that is waiting to bring a lot of chaos.

Fans will also meet the newcomer Parminder Nagra with an unrevealed role yet that works in a laboratory. The clip ended with a chilling unseen figure that warned by a girl with "you need to be ready." "Fortitude" Season 2 will be also graced by Ken Stott and Michelle Fairley and will soon air this October, as per IMDb, on Sky Atlantic.
