'Slender: The Arrival' Coming to Consoles?

Previously only considered for development for consoles, it looks like "Slender: The Arrival" has a bigger chance of coming to consoles. "Slender: The Arrival" is Blue Isle's follow-up to the first-person survival horror game "Slender: The Eight Pages."

VG247 spoke with Blue Isle's Alex Tintor, who said that while the game is primarily being developed for PC, they're looking at porting the game to consoles in the future.

"We are really focus on the PC and Mac versions of the game for now," said TIntor, "with that being said, we'd love to bring this to consoles. I think console gamers would really enjoy an experience like this."

Mobile gamers won't be as lucky.

"As for Android or any other form of mobile, we'll only do it if we feel that we can rework and adapt the experience in a really meaningful way. I think if we were to copy and paste our PC game to mobile devices, players would be pretty underwhelmed." Makes sense. Not much of a scare factor when you can accidentally cover up the Slenderman with your thumb while trying to play the game.

Tintor went on to say, "it's a wholly different medium that deserves a brand new approach to game design. So with that said, we're going to take a wait and see approach and evaluate our options after the PC release."

A beta for "Slender: The Arrrival" became available in early February, and is available for Mac on Wednesday.
