Until now Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive hasn't released any official announcements for the highly anticipated game "Red Dead Redemption 2."

There is even no confirmation if the game is now under development. As previously stated on our report, Take-Two Interactive CEO, Strauss Zelnick confirmed that the "Red Dead Redemption" is a permanent game franchise and fans should just wait for its upcoming sequel that will be made soon.

However, Rockstar Games has re-released its game "Red Dead Revolver" that was originally launched last May 2004, the game looks a bit dated, but it was a great game when it was launched for PlayStation 2. According to a report from GameSpot, the game has been re-released only for PlayStation 4 consoles. The "Red Dead Revolver" is now available to download on PlayStation Store only for the price of $14.99.

The re-released "Red Dead Revolver" also includes new features like trophies, remote play, second screen support and 1080 pixel visuals as stated by Engadget. The game will take place in the 1880's with the bounty hunter Red as the main protagonist. His main mission is to have his revenge and kill the men who murdered his parents over a gold mine in Bear Mountain.

The re-released game of Rockstar might actually mean that they are getting ready to their next new project the "Red Dead Redemption 2."But there are also several rumors and speculations spreading online that there will no be "RDR 2" that will be made because Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive might put an end to the "Redemption" tagline.

If the rumors were true the "Red Dead Redemption" sequel might be called "Red Dead 3" or "Legends of the West" and it will be playable through the latest consoles like PlayStation 4 Pro and the Xbox Scorpio with an improved 4K resolution display.
