The "Red Dead Redemption 2" action-adventure game by Rockstar Games is rumored to roll out in 2017. The game is said to include a multiplayer option and map landmarks. Reports also claim that the highly-anticipated sequel of the original game will be available on February 2017.

It is said that die-hard gamers have been expecting "Red Dead Redemption 2" to be unveiled at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 last June. Additionally, it is speculated that the details of the game will also be unveiled during Sony's PlayStation Meeting. Unfortunately, none of this took place.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is expected to be compatible with PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio along with the original version of the game. Rumor has it that the sequel to the game was delayed to wait on the release of the the new gaming consoles of Microsoft and Sony.

Moreover, "Red Dead Redemption 2" is said to feature 4k high-resolution image. The potential landmarks in the video game are expected to include Pakistani City Kahuta, which translates "mountains that hold the sky," Polygon reported. Rumor has it that "Red Dead Redemption 2" may carry on a new game title. It is speculated that the game will be called "Red Dead Tribulation or "Legends of the West". Interestingly, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick also revealed that the game is analogous to a permanent franchise in quarterly earnings call.

Meanwhile, a leaked poster of "Red Dead Redemption 2" was deemed a hoax by the gaming community. However, new reports have claimed that the sequel to the original game may be released soon. The game is rumored to be delayed to wait on the arrival of the latest gaming consoles. Hence, the game itself may be expected in February.

The "Red Dead Redemption 2" is also rumored to be pushed back as far as 2018 since Take-Two previously mentioned that they were not in a rush to get the game's sequel out into the market. Furthermore, Rockstar Games has already announced that all versions of the game will be compatible on Xbox One via Microsoft's backward compatibility program.
