‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Latest News, Release Date & Update: Rockstar Finally Confirms Game Sequel Arriving in Spring 2017? Game Hints Revealed!

Fans have been waiting for substantial updates on "Red Dead Redemption 2" and there have been a lot of talks that the sequel is on the way. Game developer Rockstar Games may have just dropped one huge teaser seemingly hinting about the release of the game and this got the online community talking.

On Rockstar's official Twitter account, as well as its official newswire, a teaser image of the brand logo was posted. This logo was set against a faded red background, which is an all too familiar sight for "Red Dead" franchise fans. As reported by GameSpot, the red color is a signature for "Red Dead Redemption" and it had been used in loading screens and even for promo art. There wasn't any caption found on the photo and this surely made fans curious about what the developer is planning. "Red Dead Redemption 2" is the most awaited sequel and for years, people have been waiting for its arrival. Did Rockstar just tease the upcoming installment?

Most of the people who commented on the image are convinced that it has something to do with "Red Dead Rdemption's" sequel. However, it should be noted that nothing has been confirmed and it could just be a form of teaser for the rumored HD remastered version of "Red Dead Redemption." Then again, the teaser could finally be a confirmation that "Red Dead Redemption 2" is coming any time soon.

"Red Dead Redemption" has bagged a lot of awards in 2010 when the game released. Since then, the gaming community has been demanding for a sequel to the title. According to Forbes, there had been job listings and investor notes hinting at a new "Red Dead" title, but this latest teaser image seems to be the most convincing hint from Rockstar so far. Lately, the period between the announcement of a game and its release has now shortened and the publication speculates that "Red Dead Redemption 2" could even be ready by Spring 2017.

Then again, what the image truly means remains unclear so fans are advised to take it with a grain of salt. Now that Rockstar has dropped a tease, it is likely that the company will give an official announcement, either for "Red Dead Redemption 2" or for another project.
