"iZombie" missed its usual fall release when it was announced that the third season will have a mid-season premiere. "iZombie" Season 3 release date has yet to be confirmed and new plot spoilers from the cast and crew have yet to emerge, but latest reports suggest that Liv's (Rose McIver) new love interest has already been revealed.

Just recently, "Veronica Mars" alum Jason Dohring has been included in the cast for "iZombie" Season 3, where he will portray Vivian's (Andrea Savage) brother-in-law, Chase Graves. Dohring will first appear in episode eight, which is titled "Eat a Kinevel." Not much about the character has been revealed but as previously reported by GamenGuide, rumors are rife that Chase Graves could be Liv's new love interest. It was already teased by executive producer Rob Thomas that "Liv will have a love interest this year who will not die." Will Chase be the one to step in to fill that role?

If that happens, it would also mean that Liv and her real love, Major (Robert Buckley) won't be reuniting in "iZombie" Season 3. Fans are hoping that the two will finally end up together now that Major is already a zombie. As for Liv's decision on whether or not to join Vivian to make Seattle a zombie capital, it remains unclear, but there are speculations that she might just agree to work with her. Rumor has it that Liv will take Vivian's offer as she also has her own agenda - to save Seattle residents from becoming a zombie. Knowing Vivian's company, Filmore-Graves, is hard to take down, Liv will need to get close to the people there and ultimately bring the company down from the inside.

So far, there is still no confirmation as to what will happen in "iZombie" Season 3, except that Liv will eat a dominatrix brain in one of the episodes. More updates about The CW series are expected to pop up soon.
