'Maze Runner' 3 Release Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Dylan O'Brien Asking For Less Action Sequences After 'The Death Cure' Accident?

The world is certainly relieved to know that Dylan O'Brien is recovering from the injuries he sustained on the set of "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" last March. The "Teen Wolf" Season 6 star was reportedly struck by a car while shooting an action sequence for the highly anticipated sequel.

Although O'Brien is currently feeling well enough to begin filming his other movie "American Assassin", there are speculations that the actor might be hoping to change a few things about "The Death Cure". Is it possible that O'Brien is asking for less action scenes for his character in "Maze Runner 3"?

Dylan O'Brien Still Not Ready To Return To 'Maze Runner 3' Set, Negotiating Less Action Scenes For Thomas?

The March 2016 accident on the set of "Maze Runner 3" was definitely a major blow on the film, which has been forced to halt production until next year. However, some believe that the one person who has been severely affected by the incident is Dylan O'Brien, who might have spent several months recuperating from his injuries.

GamenGuide has already reported on possible legal actions against the production company for the incident, but it is also possible that O'Brien might be asking for a major rewrite of the movie. Will the sequel feature less action sequences with the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 star?

It would be difficult to imagine how "Maze Runner 3" would work without Dylan O'Brien's Thomas in the middle of the action. It is highly unlikely that the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 star would request for his character to be given less action sequences in the movie. However, that doesn't mean O'Brien's legal team will not consider actions over his accident.

Is Dylan O'Brien Waiting For Legal Actions Against Fox For 'Maze Runner 3' Injuries?

GamenGuide previously wrote about the possibility that Dylan O'Brien might follow Harrison Ford's lead and sue Fox for a substantial amount after his "Maze Runner 3" accident. The "Star Wars" production was recently sued for almost $2 million for breaking Ford's leg on the set of "The Force Awakens".

Although there has been no confirmation of any legal actions from O'Brien, it is possible that Fox will have to settle quietly for breaking several of the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 star's bones. "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" is scheduled for release on January 12, 2018.
