"Jurassic World 2" is one continuity that those who basked in the first film's success are definitely looking forward to, but it may not be what they expect. The lighter, mass-friendly tone of "Jurassic World" might be headed to the exact opposite, at least as per the director.
The masterpiece by Colin Trevorrow has become one of the biggest movies to ever hit the screens last year, and because of it, fans have wanted more. Some spoilers may be indicated below in relation to the upcoming "Jurassic World 2."
According to Scified, the new director for "Jurassic World 2" J.A. Bayona certainly has some good things to say about the upcoming sequel. He eagerly spoke on what the feel of the film will be, saying that the next dinosaur flick will progress to a much darker, scarier vibe. This was something that somewhat became altered by one fact - it stars Chris Pratt.
The presence of actor Chris Pratt almost entirely signifies that there will be humor in the film, basing on his previous movies such as "Delivery Man," "Guardians of the Galaxy" and even the action-packed "Wanted" to name a few. However, Bayona claims that "Jurassic World 2" will present more horror, as traditionally, the second step always becomes a tad bit darker than the predecessor. Bayona added that fans will see stuff happen that are immensely unanticipated; even shocking to some.
Recent reports confirmed that "Jurassic World 2" will have Bryce Dallas Howard reprise her role alongside the male protagonist Christ Pratt, whereas the other sure-hit cast members are yet to be detailed. Trevorrow will return for the movie but as Executive Producer, also co-writing with Derek Connolly.
As many may be foreseeing, "Jurassic World 2" could be just as triumphant as "Jurassic World" if done correctly. The film is slated to be launched on June 22, 2018.
